£18 million divested from fossil fuel companies

Alongside People and Planet, we’re campaigning for universities to pull their money out of fossil fuel companies, and invest in the renewable alternatives we need to see.

Following two waves of freedom of information requests, we’ve set a target of moving £100 million into renewables.

To date we’ve seen £18 million divested from fossil fuel companies, and institutions beginning to make their first positive reinvestment commitments.
