Dozens of students’ union presidents called for action at COP21

Ahead of the UN climate talks in Paris, we campaigned for an agreement which limited warming to 2 degrees, and kept 80 per cent of fossil fuels in the ground.

As part of a huge wave of activity, we sent 100 presidents jigsaw pieces to sign, making up a banner which led the student bloc at the London Climate March on the first day of COP21.

When 195 countries signed an agreement to limit warming well below 2 degrees, they knew that students wouldn’t settle for anything less.
