“A 100% self-sustained social enterprise”

We funded and supported the University of Roehampton Students’ Union in setting up their own social enterprise.

Growhampton consists of an edible campus with growing spaces to be found around the university grounds, and a café that offers organic, ethical and local food – including loads of food grown by students on campus.

“The café is one of the most popular catering outlets on campus”, explains last year’s environment and Fairtrade officer Celia Briseid. “It’s a popular place for students to study, staff to have meetings or to have a great coffee in a relaxed and creative environment”.
