As part of our national day of action on COP21, Charmaine held a craftivism stitch-in, creating patchwork squares for the student banner at the London Climate March.
“I first heard about the COP21 meeting of global leaders via NUS and was very inspired by the campaign”, Charmaine said. “It made me reflect on what we at EKCSU could do to make a difference in the fight against climate change”
“I was particularly drawn to the craftivism activity as it allowed for our supported learning students to take the lead, use their creative skills and have their work make a difference and contribute to a national-global campaign”
